Spending her formative years in Belfast, Lynne was encouraged to sing from an early age by her musical family and was classically trained by Jim Shaw and Irene Sandford. She later gained a love of musical theatre, performing in many musicals throughout Ireland, before receiving private tuition in London from Mary Hammond (Head of Musical Theatre, Royal Academy of Music).
An experienced concert performer she has appeared as a soloist with a variety of West End stars from Les Miserables, Miss Saigon and Phantom Of The Opera, in a variety of venues including the Odyssey Arena, The Waterfront Hall and The Grand Opera House Belfast. She has also worked as a soloist with renowned concert producer/director Hugh Wooldridge. She has produced and performed in her own one woman sell out concerts in The Grand Opera House, Belfast and has production and direction credits for concerts throughout the Province.
Lynne has appeared as a soloist with the John Anderson Big Band for Belfast’s VE day celebrations and Christmas celebrations with the then President of United States present, Bill Clinton. In addition to her own concerts she appears with the female singing group, The Leading Ladies, and has performed throughout the UK from Aberdeen to London. To complement performing full time, Lynne also teaches vocal technique and has a Diploma in Musical theatre becoming an associate with the London College of Music (ALCM).
Lynne released her debut album ‘At a loss for words’ in 2011.
